Commission Structure

Your Split. Your Cap. Your Choice.

Agents typically reach their cap around $2.5M in sales volume. Once you hit your cap, you keep 100% of your commission for the rest of your anniversary year. If you don't reach cap, you DO NOT make up the difference — it is simply a max payout per year.

Your commission rate is entirely up to you. KW does not set what you charge. The most common rate in the Fort Wayne area is between 5.5% and 6% of the sale price, split between buyer's and seller's agents — but you decide what you charge for your services.
The transaction fee is your choice to roll in. Most agents choose to include the transaction fee in the transaction at closing. It is entirely up to you, and it is the most common approach.
